Ex-Demo Instruments & Used
We use 'ex demo' as a catch-all to include ex display, ex hire, ex demonstration instruments. They are graded into two categories - A and B. Both are mechanically sound. A grade are cosmetically close to new. B grade show more signs of previous use and are priced accordingly.
Our ex demo instruments are fully refurbished, low mileage and, while they may not be as shiny as their new counterparts, they still have a full 12 month guarantee against mechanical problems. They can be bought via the Assisted Instrument Purchase Scheme to get the VAT off, making themselves an inexpensive way into the student market. Availability is limited, so please call to check we have stock. Ex demo stock may not be readily available as very often they are items that have come back from hire or have been downgraded from new due to transit damage.
* Please note ex demo instruments need to be set-up by the workshop before being sent out, so please allow a week for delivery*
** In this department we also sell instruments that have been part-exchanged, which cannot be purchased via the AIPS.
