This horn was designed for the dance bands and radio music of the 1930s, and is known for it's "snappy" and crisp tone.

The Model 6VII is one of the more popular variants of the model 6, with the #440 bell that has a medium-open bell throat and a more gradual flair. This keeps the sound compact, but not too biting.

Wear & Tear Observations: The serial number dates this instrument to the early 1940s, and for it's age this trombone is a nice example. This trombone is in overall good condition with some signs of wear. There is some lacquer loss inside the bell and on the gooseneck, with a number of small dents, warps and scratched throughout the bell section. The slide is in nice condition, with just a little surface wear on the stays. The inner slide shows no sign of wear.
