This Howarth S3 oboe would be ideal for the advancing student looking for an instrument that can complete the grades and go beyond.  This oboe was made in 1990 and it is in fair condition.  Howarth oboes display fine craftsmanship and are the first choice instruments for British oboist’s.  This model features a wooden body, ring keys, semi-automatic octaves and Dual system.

Wear & Tear Observations: There are no signs of cracks or repairs to the wooden body but there are some surface scuffs and scratches visible. There is a fair amount of ware to the silver plated keywork. Please note, this oboe can be purchased as seen before the service work has been completed.
