JP and guests set for 2025 British Open Championship
The curtain will soon rise on the 2025 British Open Brass Band Championship - and John Packer Ltd will be at the major event, along with some very special guests.
Among those attending the prestigious competition in Birmingham on Saturday, September 6, will be Greg Black, of Greg Black Mouthpieces. Renowned for his stunning mouthpieces, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the man behind these wonderful creations.
Also around at the contest will be Rath Trombones, featuring a display of the hand-crafted instruments, made in the UK and played by performers all over the world - including several of the competing bands at the British Open. Tim Sidwell, sales manager and senior technician, will be on hand to answer any questions.
Taylor Trumpets will be bringing a stunning selection of custom-built cornets, flugels, and trumpets. Tom Francombe will be available to chat through all things Taylor, including the order process.
Meanwhile, Sterling Musical Instruments are set to unveil their two newest products (euphonium and baritone horn) as part of their exciting re-launch into the brass world.
