This review relates to s JP271SW Bb Cornet which I recently purchased for our band. The response and service from John Packer was excellent. Short delivery time. The instrument itself is very good. In October last year I also bought a JP176 Eb Soprano Cornet. Same response and service, and again for a student instrument the quality is very good. Above all I consider these instruments to be excellent value for money.

For the price this is an excellent mute that sounds great and plays in tune. It is well made and comfortable to hold and use. The stem moves freely and easy to use when playing. A very good mute that is great value for money.

A nicely made support which I thought would help with the bari, but I had to decide it was just not for me as I would find moment restrictive and it would be awkward to put the instrument into its stand. I have reluctantly requested a return.

I ordered three new finger buttons in the hope that they would fit an older model JP072 MkII which was missing all of its obscurely sized, unobtainable valve pearls. The **** threads matched and the cost was very reasonable.
With a yamaha custom 4cm mouthpiece I found this reed gave a great balance between brightness and response and rich, warm sound. It was easily bright and loud enough to cut through in a large ensemble (as the only tenor!) But still sounded good! Very pleased and I will repurchase when this one is tired!
Excellent service and product as usual
As a returning player who has played Bach, Yamaha, Besson and Taylor previously...I spent a while researching which one to go for, then I came across the XO 1600i.
There was something about all the reviews that prompted me to take the plunge and I can say that I haven't been disappointed.
The first thing you noticed is the attention to detail, boot only in the instrument but also the accessories and even the packaging, awesome.
The next thing is the quality of the build...wow! What can I say here.
The tone, tuning and ease of playing have all come up trumps too, so I am totally excited to get back into shape and give this horn the playing it deserves.

I needed this to replace a broken spring. The part arrived quickly. It fits my R10 well. It was easy to fit and cut down to size. Performs well over a couple of weeks of use.
The mute is light weight, flexible and comfortable to hold when using.
Sounds brilliant- its good to have my own instrument - however the peg stand keeps slipping in the peg holder and the ligature appears not to be able to tighten to hold the reed on - prefer a leather ligature any way - which I use on my other clarinet
The best I've used. Valves work smoothly, and it's clean - there's no black staining that other brands have caused.
