A Brief History of Patricola

Fratellli Patricola translated means Patricola brothers, named after the three Italian brothers Francesco, Pietro and Biagio who founded their oboe and clarinet manufacturing business in 1976. The company has continued to stay in the family, and the instruments are renowned all over the world thanks to their quality.

Patricola allows all their wood to age naturally up to 20 years, removing small parts year after year up to the final size. This slow process removes any issues associated with working with wood.
