The Vincent Bach Stradivarius Bb trumpets are one of the leading professional trumpets on the market. Many of the top International trumpet players choose the Bach “Strad” as their instrument of choice because of its great balanced sound, perfect intonation and a quick and even response. The 'LR' models have a reversed leadpipe which offers the player less resistance and a freer playing experience.

Great service

Bought a professional Bach 18037R Stradivarius Bb Trumpet for my daughter, ordered in specially once I placed the order. Kept up to date by JP about delivery. Arrived in perfect condition and plays beautifully. The price was also competitive. I would highly recommend John Packer.

Industry Standard!

The Bach Strad is perhaps the most popular, and well-used trumpet available to professional trumpet players today. The reverse leadpipe model has been designed to provide efficient airflow throughout the trumpet, removing any barriers to the air column with the edges of the tuning slide's piping. Previous to owning and performing with this model, I was slightly apprehensive of the improvement by this small change. I am delighted to report however that I am now beginning to notice the change in airflow through the horn. After playing on a colleagues normal Strad (with non reverse leadpipe) I was actually amazed by the difference in sound produced by the reverse model. Although not enough to warrant ditching an normal Strad and buying a reverse leadpipe model straight away, I would recommend trying both models out before purchasing, I really relish the thought that all the effort I am putting in producing a strong airflow thorough the instrument is not losing any efficiency due to edges inside the leadpipe! Interesting thought when buying a new trumpet...
