The new Backun Corrado Signature Clarinet Mouthpiece is part of the new top end artist line of Backun mouthpieces. This model is a collaboration between clarinet performance master and mouthpiece maker Richard Hawkins, Backun the clarinet manufacturing experts, and legendary clarinet artist Corrado Giufreddi.

Designed at Backun Musical Services using advanced CAD/CAM software and tested with 3D printing technology, the mouthpieces are crafted on a highly advanced nine-axis CNC machine. Finished in a unique done-in-one machining program that combines both the milling and lathing processes without the need for a second setup or re-calibration. This results in an exceptionally consistent mouthpiece that stays true to the original design.

The new Backun Signature Series clarinet mouthpieces are designed with a set of 3 O-Rings for the mouthpiece fit instead of a traditional cork. Each mouthpiece includes a set of 3 rings in 3 different sizes (small, medium, large) as well as a tool to help easily remove and change these o-rings.
