The newly upgraded Howarth S40CTP is a graduate model dual system oboe, designed for the diploma level player and capable of a rich and varied tone.  

This oboe includes many essential features found on a professional oboe, with mechanisms for almost every trill. At just over 640g, the oboe remains comparatively light in weight and is therefore suitable for accomplished young musicians.

This updated features a new adjustable thumbrest with sling ring to allow players to use a neck sling with ease.
