This Boosey & Hawkes Emperor A clarinet would be ideal for the advancing student looking for a wooden A clarinet to play in orchestra.
This clarinet is in good condition for it's age of approx 40yrs. Clarinettists love the big vintage sound made by these earlier English clarinets and the Emperor was B&H's intermediate model at the time. This is a chance to get an A clarinet for use in orchestras with an affordable price tag.
Wear & Tear Observations: This clarinet is in a good condition. There are no signs of cracks or repairs to the wooden body but there are some very minor surface scratches to one of the barrels. The makers are fully visable. The nickel silver plated keywork is in good condition showing limited signs of wear. This clarinet has recently had an iterim service completed by our workshop ready for sale.
