The Besson 600 series BE605 Bb/F compensating French Horn is the ideal choice for advancing students or smaller players ready to step up to a double horn. Featuring a clever compensating double design, this horn offers the full range and versatility of both the F and B♭ keys without the exhausting, heavy weight of a traditional full double.
Because it shares tubing between both sides, it remains incredibly lightweight and easy to hold, eliminating the physical fatigue that often holds younger musicians back. Engineered with an optimized layout for correct posture and hand placement, the BE605 delivers a rich, free-blowing, and resonant tone that easily rivals heavier, standard double horns.
Wear & Tear Observations: This Besson BE605 3/4 compensating double horn is in fair overall condition. It features a visible flat spot on the bell flare alongside minor scarring from a previous dent repair, some surface wear on the valve paddles, and light corrosion on the leadpipe. However, the instrument has been recently serviced; all valves, the thumb lever, and all slides move freely and smoothly. It is mechanically sound and fully ready to play.
