The Holton “Elkhorn” Small-Bore Trombone is a distinctive vintage instrument, ideal for players looking for a responsive horn with a bright, focused sound.

Its small-bore design gives the instrument a lively and agile character, making it particularly well suited to traditional jazz, brass band, and solo playing. The Holton “Elkhorn” is a great choice for musicians wanting a vintage trombone with plenty of personality, excellent projection, and the characteristic playing feel of a classic small-bore instrument.

Wear & Tear Observations: This trombone is in a good condition considering it was made in the 1940's. As expected there is some lacquerwear to the hand contact points on the slide.  There is some scratching throughout the trombone too. The slide has been cleaned by our specialist ready for sale.
