This Huller bassoon is ideal for the player looking for a wooden full size bassoon that makes a full, sonorous sound for a great price. Made in Germany, these bassoons are extremely well built and will last the player through into the higher grades.

It plays with a rich tone and excellent intonation. This model has 23 keys and 5 rollers. Huller was a student of Heckel, another maker of fine bassoons, which is reflected in his work.

Wear & Tear Observations: This bassoon is in a good condition for its age of approx 30- 40 years with no signs of cracks to the wooden body. There are some scuff marks and filled holes to the body but this is purely cosmetic and doesn't effect the bassoons playability.  

The silver plating is in very good condition showing very minimal signs of wear. The right hand thumb key has the most significant plating wear but again is purely cosmetic.  

There has been adaptions made to the boot joint keywork but can still play the full range. This bassoon has been recently fully serviced by our workshop ready for sale.

This Huller bassoon comes in a hard compact case with functioning clasps and handle. An extra strap is provided for added clasp security.  Also included is a no. 2 FE crook, bird, basic neck sling and cleaning mops. We would recommend purchasing some new pullthroughs with this bassoon.
