The King SilverSonic 'Super 20' Cornet is a 'long model' cornet, incorporating a reduced bell curve for a more direct sound.

The result is an instrument that is much longer than a traditional shaped cornet, and not as mellow in tone, making this a good lead or solo instrument in a brass band, or where a trumpet would be too bright a sound.

This cornet utilised a combination or lacquered brass and sterling silver, for a sound that is balanced between warm and strong.

Wear & Tear Observations: This instrument is in very good condition. The silver plate is in good condition throughout, with only a small amount of scratching on the leadpipe and the top of the bell.

There is a small amount of lacquer wear on the 1st and 3rd valves, on the underside of the 3rd valve slide, and on the bottom valve caps. The valves are free-moving and extremely responsive.
