The Lawler C7 Bb trumpet is a high-quality, handcrafted professional instrument, combining the traditional craftsmanship of American trumpet making with a distinctive modern design.

Built by Roy Lawler in Tennessee, USA, the C7 was inspired by the legendary Martin Committee trumpets of the golden age of jazz, seeking to capture their rich, warm and colourful tonal character while offering a more modern playing experience. Its distinctive step-bore design provides a responsive feel, excellent tonal flexibility and the ability to move effortlessly between subtle, mellow passages and a more powerful, brilliant sound.

The instrument offers a broad, resonant tone with a strong tonal core, combining warmth and depth with clarity, projection and expressive control across the registers. Handcrafted using a Getzen valve section alongside Lawler’s own bell and leadpipe construction, the C7 reflects the individuality and attention to detail of a specialist American maker.

With its fascinating connection to classic jazz trumpet heritage and its versatile playing characteristics, the Lawler C7 is an excellent choice for the discerning player seeking a distinctive professional instrument with character, responsiveness and tonal sophistication.
