This Yamaha YAS480 Eb alto saxophone is ideal for the progressing player looking for an instrument that can get them through the grades and beyond.  The 480 series have many of the same features found on Yamaha's professional saxophones that provide these intermediate saxophones with greater playability and optimum tone. These are instruments that bring out the best of the performer and ideal choice for up and coming players. This sax is in a fair condition and was bought new from us approximately 10 years ago.

Wear & Tear Observations: This YAS-480 saxophone is in a fair condition cosmetically. There are no signs of dents or repairs to the saxes body but some scratching and minor lacquer loss in areas. The most notible scratching is above the sling ring to the body side of the saxes bell and the lacquer loss is mostly on the keywork rods, palm keys and low Eb & C keys.   This sax has recently been checked over by our workshop ready for sale.

This Yamaha YAS480 comes in it's original fabric covered hard case with built in backpack straps and optional shoulder strap. A Yamaha 4C mouthpiece, ligature, cap and basic  neck sling are also included alongside the owners manual.  The mouthpiece beak is heavily indented so a protective patch has been applied to prevent further damage and aid comfort. We would recommend purchasing some reeds, grease and cleaners alongside this instrument if not owned already.
