This B&H Roundstamp 925 sovereign Eb soprano cornet would be suitable for any player looking for a top of the range instrument to use in brass bands. The Boosey & Hawkes 925 "Round Stamp" is widely considered a holy grail instrument in the British brass band tradition. It is perfect for a dedicated soprano player who needs a traditional, rich, and lyrical tone that seamlessly blends with the cornet section while still having the power to pierce through a full band fortissimo. This particular cornet was made in 1978 and is in good condition.

Wear & Tear Observations: This instrument plays very well for its age. The plating is in a good condition with just some minor plating wear to the 3rd valve and some pitting where the hand comes into contact. All slides and valves move freely.

This B&H soprano cornet comes in a Besson hard case and is supplied with an unmarked silver plated mouthpiece. We would recommend purchasing valve oil and tuning slide grease to accompany this instrument.
