This Yamaha YBS32 Eb baritone saxophone is ideal for the advanced player or doubler looking for a well made, but affordable, bari sax. The YBS32 was only recently discontinued to make way for the current YBS480 model. Much of the YBS-32 Baritone Saxophone is based on upon the professional and Custom instruments, sharing many of the same features and design advances. The keywork is designed to suit all hand shapes and sizes (with an adjustable thumb hook for added comfort) and makes playing such a big instrument surprisingly easy, a great addition to someone looking for a doubling instrument.
The YBS-32 delivers outstanding response, tone and intonation from the front F all the way to the additional Low A key. The specially designed octave mechanism is more reliable than ever and enhances the transitions between octaves.
Wear & Tear Observations: This instrument is in fair condition for its age (roughly 6 years old) with one larger dent to the bell, near the solder join and several smaller ones located throughout the sax. The lacquer to the neck has significant red pitting and could potentially be the early signs of redrot but is currently just surface marks. This extends onto the main sax bodys first u-bend. There is also scratching throughout the sax and lacquer loss to the register key. This sax has been kept regularly serviced and checked over by our workshop ready for sale.
