The ligature assists the performer in seeking a more responsive and free playing sound. Jazz musicians especially appreciate this fact, allowing them the opportunity to concentrate more on their music.  

This ligature would be an ideal upgrade from the traditional two screw ligatures usually supplied with saxes.  The textile used in Rovner ligatures is not leather and is, therefore, not prone to stretching over time the way leather might.

This ligature will fit most slim metal alto sax mouthpieces excluding Otto Link, Beechler, Dukoff, Yanagisawa, Ria, Bari and Segal mouthpieces.
