A fantastic bassoon - made and plays to an exceptional standard.

This instrument is similar to the model S16 conservatory, but in addition, it is equipped with a large Bb/F# key guard plate and a high E key on the wing joint.

It is very well made; the key mechanism is handmade for each instrument. Even the smallest inaccuracies can thereby be avoided. The keywork is mounted with rod screws and head pivot screws. Thus it is stabilised and side noises are avoided.

Due to the handmade keywork, this model offers very high playing comfort.

 

  • 25 keys including high-D key, double C touchpiece, whisper key lock for the left hand, high E key, right hand Bb trill key and C# trill key
  • Silver plated keywork
  • Large Bb/F# key guard plate
  • 4 rollers, F-Ab, C#-Eb
  • Body from 10 year old alpine maple wood
  • A special epoxy resin lining in the wing and to over Ab tonehole in the boot joint
  • 2 hand hammered, soldered and bent bocals, silver-plated
  • Durable and attractive case with cordura cover, backpack construction, music compartment and accessories
