This is a great sturdy music stand and perfect if you want something to leave up rather than folding up and putting away every time. It does fold down to move, but the solid top means it’s not compact. The bit that holds the music is nice and deep, Arban-proof in fact! I don’t know why I waited so long to buy one! The only criticism is that it does adjust very low for my young children, but otherwise it’s great!

Yes, I purchased one of these music stands and it came with no instructions on how to assemble it. This is one of the more complicated ones. I've put it all together, I just don't know how to elongate it. There's a black tube that sticks out enough to put the book holder on top, I think that's the one that's supposed to come out so it can not be sized for a little person, and it's impossible to figure out without instructions.
