A gauze cloth is an essential piece of maintenance equipment and should be used at the end pf each playing session to remove the moisture that has condensed in the bore of the instrument. This type is very absorbent. Don't forget that you mustn't keep the damp cloth in the case with the flute - always keep it in case cover or some other convenient place.
