This practice mute is unique in that it responds evenly in all registers without compression or intonation distortion. It is designed for warming up or long periods of quiet practicing. TrumCor mutes are carefully hand-crafted in Tennessee, and the fibre mutes are made with wood and a specially formulated resonant fibre material.

This mute suites Flugelhorns with Large bells, such as the Conn Vintage One. This will not fit smaller bells like those used by Yamaha, John Packer or Courtois.
