This vintage Besson New Standard flugel horn is ideal for the player looking for a well made flugel at a great price point.
This instrument is ideal for brass bands as it produces a lovely warm, rounded sound that will blend with any section in the band. Although its age is unknown we would estimate that it was made in the 1960's to early 70's.
Wear & Tear Observations: This instrument is in a good condition for its age. There are a few small dinks throughout the instrument and a couple of scratches to the bell. The plating on the whole shows very little signs of wear. All slides and valves move smoothly and freely.
