This Cannonball T5 B-ICE-B Raven Bb tenor sax is ideal for the aspiring or professional player looking for a powerful instrument with a dark and broad sound. This particular sax is in very good condition and offers excellent value against the price of new.   Cannonball designed the Big Bell® Stone Series® Saxophones for you to be able to play without limits, feeling each note vibrate in your hands. The combination of fine engraving and semi-precious natural stone touch pieces from the deep earth make each saxophone an art piece in itself.

"The Raven" T5-B from the The Big Bell® series, created by Cannonball in 2001, extends the range of dynamics to achieve greater depth of sound color. The increased size of the bell also lends itself to a large, warm sound.

Each saxophone comes with two custom saxophone necks. The second neck, the FAT® model, has an octave hole at the bottom of the neck, creating less resistance to airflow, getting a full sound with more low frequencies, more mid-range frequencies and less high frequencies.

Wear & Tear Observations: Although this saxophone is a few years old it was seldom used so remains in very good condition. There are no dinks, dents or major scratches to the finish, just a small bit of lacquer wear to the matching neck and a couple of very fine minor scratches to the back of the saxes body stop this sax from looking as good as new. It has been checked over by our workshop prior to sale and is in optimal working order.

This Raven tenor saxophone is supplied in its original hard case with 2 crooks (original and FAT). The original cannonball mouthpiece and an extra ebonite Vandoren jumbo java T75 mouthpiece and the original black nickel plated ligature and cap are also included along with the original neck sling. 

We would recommend you purchase reeds, a cleaner and cork grease alongside this saxophone if not owned already.
