Heckel crooks are an excellent way to upgrade a bassoon from the the stock crooks that are included with the instrument.  This Heckel CD2 bocal has had a patch repair hence the excellent price as they retail for over £1000 new.                                               

Wilhelm Heckel GmbH is a manufacturer of woodwind instruments based in Wiesbaden, Germany. It is best known for its bassoons, which are considered some of the finest available.

Wear & Tear Observations: This crook is in a good condition with no signs of pull down.  There has been a patch repair soldered on which is airtight.
