This Leblanc 340 A clarinet is ideal for the advancing player looking for a wooden instrument that is very responsive with an excellent tuning scale to play in orchestras/ other 'A' clarinet repertoire. This instrument was the precursor to the LeBlanc LL and dates back to 1964. When these were produced they were considered top end models and were very popular with players for their fine craftsmanship and rich tone.

Wear & Tear Observations: This clarinet is in an very good condition for its age with no visible repairs to the wooden body apart from one small chip near the top of the upper tenon. All the Leblanc markings are clear. The keys show some signs of wear on most keywork.  This clarinet has had a full set of good condition leather pads.

This Clarinet comes in a padded Rossetti double A + Bb case with backpack straps. A Selmer C85 120 mouthpiece is included along with a ligature, two caps and three barrels: A Bakun 65mm Traditional in Grenadilla ; Selmer 9; and a B&H. Also included is a pull through, some cork grease and a lyre. Three books are also included: Schumann's Fantasiestücke Opus 73 for Piano, A Clarinet and Bb Clarinet; Mozart's Clarinet Quintet for Piano and A Clarinet; and Mozart's Konzert in A Major for Piano and A Clarinet. These all have separate booklets for the clarinet parts.
