This Vintage The Martin Indiana alto saxophone is ideal for the player looking for an instrument with a large broad sound. This sax is sturdily built and dates from 1954 and is in a fair condition for its age. It appears to have its original lacquer on the body but the neck is a different tone so may have been replaced or re-lacquered at a later point.

Wear & Tear Observations: This saxophone has no signs of dents or repairs but significant lacquer wear to the body and keywork. This sax is being sold 'as seen' and is in playing order with good condition pads but would benefit from a minor service in the future.

This Martin alto sax comes in a hard case with clasps.  There is a Yamaha 4C mouthpiece included with a ligature, cap and a basic neck sling. There is a slight indentation to the beak but this can be easily covered with a protective patch and continue to be used. We would recomend purchasing a new sax pullthrough, some reeds and cork grease alongside this saxophone.
