This ebonite mouthpiece is very popular with all players and is the time proven standard. This mouthpiece comes as a set with a Vandoren Optimum ligature which is supplied with 3 interchangeable pressure plates to adjust the sound and expression with freedom.

Whether playing classical or jazz, the Optimum Ligature’s three pressure plates accommodate your style.

Plate 1 enables a rich, colourful sonority which produces great resonance; Pressure along the fibre of the reed facilitates an unbelievable blowing ease; Incredible ease of articulation.

Plate 2 enables a more compact, centered sonority, smooth even sound and extraordinary blowing ease.

Plate 3 enables the reed to vibrate in total freedom, producing a very flexible sound and greater ease of expression.

Wear & Tear Observations: There are no scratches and no damage to the mouthpieces tip or rails. The makers markings are visable. The ligature and mouthpiece are complete and as new.
