This Yamaha 61 purple logo Eb alto saxophone is ideal for the advanced player looking for a reliable upgrade that is versatile for both performing and teaching work. The warm tone and feel of the keywork make this sax a desirable choice for aspiring professional players. This is an earlier version of the YAS62 which is their entry level-professional model which is particularly sought after.

Wear & Tear Observations: This is an older instrument but is still in a good condition for its age, the purple logo is fully visible and there are only minor scratches to the bell section. This sax has been recently serviced prior to sale.

This Yamaha 61 comes in its original hard lockable Yamaha case with included case keys. The original care package is supplied with cork grease, a basic neck sling, the original Japanese owners manual and a single Vandoren Traditional 3 reed. There is no mouthpiece or cleaning materials included so we'd recommend purchasing these if not owned already.
