The YCR-2330II is Yamaha's entry level Bb cornet and a great choice for students and first time players. This model is widely recommended  by music teachers as an ideal beginner instrument and is suitable for new musicians of all ages.

Wear & Tear Observations: This instrument is in a fair condition with some lacquer wear and scratches. Some of the spots to the end of the leadpipe section and main tuning slide could be very early signs of red rot. There are signs of a previous repair where a section has been re-soldered and some repairs to leadpipe. There is some engraving to the valve block as this is an ex-music authority instrument.  Although not the prettiest cosmetically the valves and slides move freely.
