This older Yamaha Flugelhorn is the pre-descesor the the YFH-6310z, and is a 'Cousnon' style flugelhorn with a small bore and a broader, more diffuse sound than the comparable YFH-631. The YFH-635 was only produced for a short period of time, and was then the 'darkest' tone-colour option in Yamaha's flugelhorn lineup.

Wear & Tear Observations: This instrument is overall in a good condition for it's age. There are a few small dings on the main bell turn and near the main water-key, and there is some scratching near the lyre box and on the 1st and 3rd outer slides. There a some minor pin-prick marks on the bell-flair, and and a small remnant/warp on the outer side if the bell-throat in line with the stay. All marks are difficult to see without close scrutiny.
