This Bach 42B Stradivarius Series Professional Bb/F Tenor Trombone is a perfect instrument for the player looking for a large bore trombone with trigger.

The Strad 42 Trombones combine the heritage of Bachs original designs with modern day manufacturing precision and high quality materials. A large bore and 8.5" bell make this a bigger blowing instrument than the 36 model. This model is still in production though this is older example.

Wear & Tear Observations: As expected from an older instrument of approx 45 years old there is significant lacquer wear in places where bare brass is exposed, mainly the bell and where the trombone is in contact with the body.

There are a couple of small dinks and evidence of a dent removal in the bell throat. Saying this the playing slide, tuning slides and trigger all move freely.

This Bach 42B comes in it's original hard case with fully functioning clasps.  Also included is a fair condition Bach 4G mouthpiece.  We would recommend purchasing a Bach cleaning rod and large bore sheath, rotary oil and slide lubricant alongside this trombone.
