This is and Early Besson Sovereign from around the time that Besson took over brass manufacture from Boosey & Hawkes, hence the double marking.

This instrument would be wonderful for someone looking for a more vintage sound, perhaps for jazz or use in a period ensemble, but the very capable instrument can still certainly hold its own in a modern setting.

Wear & Tear Observations: This instrument is in very good condition. The slide and valve both move smoothly, and the finish is great, aside for some minor scratching on the bell section and outer slide. There are a few very minor dings on the outer slide and bell.
