This Boosey & Hawkes Imperial 926 wooden A clarinet is suitable for the advancing or professional clarinettist looking for a good quality A clarinet to use in orchestras or for solo work.
The Imperial 926 was manufactured as a professional level instrument alongside the Imperial Symphony 1010, but with a bore of 15.0mm, as opposed to the 15.25mm of the 1010. Although it is an older instrument, its bold full sound and versatility means it is still popular with many clarinettists today.
Wear & Tear Observations: There are no signs of cracks or damage to the wooden body and the nickel-silver plating on the keywork is in excellent condition. The makers markings are fully visible. This clarinet has been recently been fully serviced with tan leather pads ready for sale.
