This Buffet 4121 oboe is ideal for the student looking for an instrument that can get into the higher grades.  It features a wooden body with plastic luracast insert inside the bore.  It uses a thumb plate system and has covered holes making it ideal for new learners.  It was purchased from us new in 1997 and is in a good condition.

Wear & Tear Observations: This oboe is in a good condition with no signs of cracks or repairs to the wooden body and minimal wear to the silver plating. It has recently had an interim service completed ready for sale.

This Buffet comes in it's original hard clasped case which protects the instrument well.  Also included is a set of Howarth mops.  I would recommend purchasing some reeds alongside this oboe.
