This second hand JP377 is a great, fully compensated EEb tuba, perfect for a player looking to upgrade from a 3 valve instrument, or move on to their own instrument from a rental or borrowed band instrument. It would work with most settings, from concert band to brass band to orchestral.
Incorporating all the features normally found in more expensive models, this JP377 EEb 4 valve tuba sports that all important 19" bell for a greater sound projection. It also has carriage rings and a lyre box to make marching easier.
Wear & Tear Observations: This Tuba is in a good condition. There is some minor lacquer wear to the tuning slides, 1st, 3rd and 4th valve blocks and some of the stay joints. There is also some minor signs of red rot on the 1st valve tuning slide tubes as well as minor scratching to the bows and bell flare. There are no visible dents apart from one patch on the bow below the top carriage ring.
