This vintage horn can really stand on it's own! The Olds Super Recording is a Holy Grail instrument for many Trumpeters, and it's easy to see why. Olds instrument were the choice of many players whilst they were in production, and are still sought out today. This particular trumpet plays clean and strong, and is an amazingly versatile instrument that would fit nicely into any collection. 

Wear & Tear Observations: This Olds trumpet is from 1947, and is in remarkable condition for it's age. The previous owner inported the instrument from the US in 2013, and had some minor restorative works completed on it. At some point in its history, the lacquer has been removed from this trumpet, leaving the finish in raw brass, so some assosiatetd tarnish has taken place.

This Olds Recording is supplied with an Olds 3 mouthpiece, a lyre, and slightly late (1950s/60s) Olds Hard Case. The seller has also included documents from their purchase of the instrument, detailing it's provenance, as the original owner of this trumpet was American Jazz Trombonist, Roy Ferguson.
