This tenor sax Otto Link 'Tone Edge'  5* ebonite model for Tenor Sax has been a favourite of many players for decades. Designed and produced in the USA at the JJ.Babbitt company, the 'Tone Edge' offers players a rich, classic Tenor Sax sound.

The ebonite compound, large chamber, long facing and gentle baffle design results in a mouthpiece with lots of darkness and density in the sound. Ideal for smaller group ensembles and jazz playing, the Otto Link 'Tone Edge' is still one of the most popular for Tenor Sax.  This particular example is in good condition.

Wear & Tear Observations: This mouthpiece is in good condition with no damage to the tip or rails and no indentation to the beak.  All the makers markings are fully visible but there is some slight discolouration to the ebonite.

This mouthpiece is supplied in a mismatch Otto Link 7  box, with a metal ligature and Yamaha plastic cap. A protective patch has also been applied.
