This Selmer Mk VI Bb Tenor saxophone is suitable for the advanced or professional saxophonist looking for an vintage instrument that can last their career. The sax is in good condition for it's age dating approximately around 1964 and has been relacquered. This pro-level horn is responsive and resonant displaying a characteristic Selmer sound, capable of a stunning performance.
Wear & Tear Observations: There are no signs of major dents or repairs to the saxes body, just a couple of minor dings. The re-lacquering was done to this sax many years ago and there is some significant lacquer wear to the sax and it has developed lovely patina.
There is also some scratching to the back of the saxes body. These things are purely cosmetic and don't affect the saxes playability.
The sax is in a playable condition but would benefit from a service to put it into optimal playing order. It is being sold as seen which is reflected in the price.
