Randefalk mouthpieces are V and U shaped at the same time. It’s a gliding transition to a small cone in the throat. The cornet mouthpiece model have two different choices of cups. WV who is more conical shaped and gives you a big sound. The WU cup is more rounded and shallow who will give more control in the high register.

This mouthpiece is a good alternative for musicians with allergies or sensitive skin. This also prevents losing to much of the response and clear sound like you often do from ordinary plastic mouthpieces. Ryton is made of Polycarbonate, glass and nylon.
