The Buffet R13 Bb Clarinet is very flexible in terms of style and is perfect for any driven clarinettist whether they wish to perform as soloists, within a military band, orchestra, jazz band or any other performance setting or style of music.

It is suitable for teachers and advancing students alike as it can complete the grades and continue beyond.  The historic R13 Buffet Clarinet was created back in 1955 by Robert Carrée and is still hugely popular all over the world as one of the best advanced clarinets made and the specification has not changed hugely since then. This is an earlier example but plays responsively with a warm tone.

Wear & Tear Observations: This clarinet is in a good condition with no signs of cracks or repairs to the body. There are a couple of small scuffs to the wood, the one of note is to the last digit of the serial number on the upper joint.  

All Buffet markings are still visible though faded from assembly. The nickel-silver plating shows limited signs of wear. This clarinet has been recently re-padded by our workshop in tan leather pads ready for sale.

This Buffet R13 comes in a hard single case. A fair condition Vandoren B40 mouthpiece with a metal Buffet ligature and cap are also included along with a cork grease. We would recommend purchasing a pullthrough and some reeds alongside this instrument.
