Although designed as a jazz horn, the Selmer Chorus 80J Trumpet give a broad and full tone that is flexible enough to be used for multiple styles. With a larger bore and heaver weight than other trumpets with a similar set up, this instrument is has a unique character.  

Wear & Tear Observations: This instrument is in a fair condition. There is a fair amount of lacquer loss on the contact points of the instrument, particularly on the 2nd valve slide, the 3rd valve block and the leadpipe and around the little finger hook. The nickel stocking by the 3rd finger ring is worn, and the lacquer is almost completely gone on the mouthpiece receiver. This instrument has had a number of dents removed, including from the bell rim, the bell throat, and the main bell curve.
